A crushing, well-balanced Upper Body workout, including intelligent positional warmup. This program includes isometrics (holding positions) to recruit type 1 muscle fibers, dynamic, fast-paced intervals (isotonics) to recruit type 2 muscle fibers and focus on concentric contractions (growth factors released and decreased Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), and cycling Planes of Motion, so rotation/anterior/posterior are addressed. This is used (coaches and exercisers) as either 1) a standalone 10 min workout 2) a 20 min workout with an 3 rounds instead of two, and an extended transition and stretch (perfect for an express 30 min upper body training session or a group class), 3) a blended part of a 60 min total body conditioning segment, or 4) 5 rounds with 1-2 mins in between rounds creates a legitimate 45 min upper body smash for half the week. The next session should focus on OHP, lat pulldown, and dynamic core rotation, which we will shoot soon!
